Stephen “Steve” H. Forcier of Leominster passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital on May 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Homer and Dolores (Caporale) Forcier. He attended Assabet Valley Vocational High School, class of 1978. Steve moved to Seabrook, New Hampshire where he raised his family. He was a proud father. He returned to Massachusetts to support his dad and his family. He worked most of his life as a machinist and a truck driver.
Despite being born and raised in Massachusetts, he was a stubborn New York Bills fan. He loved to golf, being outdoors, traveling to Mexico and the Midwest, and enjoying the simplicity of nature. He especially enjoyed taking his sons to NASCAR races and camping. He loved his family and always put them first.
Stephen is survived by his 2 sons, Jereme Forcier of Leominster and Austin Forcier of Marlborough and his 2 brothers, Mark Forcier and his wife Donna of New Hampshire and John Forcier of Dedham.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 5-7 PM in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 West Main Street, Marlborough, MA.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 11 am in St. Matthias Church, Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
Jereme and Austin want their dad to know that they love him and to “make sure you’re hitting them long and straight”.
