Richard C. Wiggin Sr. of Marlborough, passed peacefully in nis home after a long illness.
He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Robert Wiggin and Marie (D’Amour) Wiggin Lippmann.
Growing up in Holyoke he married his high school sweetheart, Carole in 1956. They moved to Marlborough in 1963 where he was employed by ITT baking company.
He is survived by his loving wife Carole of 68 years. 2 children Richard Wiggin and his wife Christine, Karen Hutch and her partner Richard Lawrence, 6 Grandchildren, Barbara Copeland, April and her husband Eduardo Parades, Kellie and her husband James Campbell, James Hutch, Richard and his wife Jacquie, Michael Hutch, as well as 12 great grandchildren.
Richard loved the cape, fishing on his son’s boat. He loved golfing, gardening, scratch tickets and his Cadillac’s. For years he was an active member of AA. Richard and Carole enjoyed traveling and became snowbirds in Florida.
Most of all he loved his time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
A private family service was held.
