Patricia "Pat" A. (Collins) Miles

Patricia Ann (Collins) Miles, 82, of Marlborough passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born in Grundy, VA the daughter of the late Jack “Russell” and Edith (Hibbitts) Collins. She relocated to Marlborough in 1960 and has resided here since.

She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Robert B. Miles, Sr in 1996.

Pat worked as a French Cord Turner at Marlborough Footwear for many years.

She is survived by her children, Richard F. Rice and his wife Claudette of Hudson, Elizabeth Finnegan and her husband Matthew, Robert Miles, Jr. and his wife Kellie, Gail Bradley, all of Marlborough; 6 grandchildren, Jillian Finnegan, Katherine Ahearn and her husband Eric, Derek Rice, John Bradley, Shea Miles and his wife Megan, Samuel Miles; 10 great grandchildren, Keira, Ryleigh, Logan, Maeve, Lucy, Amanda, Sean, Stephen, Katrina and Wade, 3 brothers, Jack Collins of FL., Danny Collins of KY., Randy Collins of VA., a sister Barbara Mejias of Southborough as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pat was also predeceased by 4 brothers, Robert Hibbitts, Michael Collins, Larry Collins, Gary Collins, 2 sisters Roberta Teele and Sheila Johnson and a granddaughter Wendy Bradley.

She enjoyed Country and Bluegrass music and attended many concerts. She liked going to the casino and spent time with her family members whenever possible. She was a great cook, often feeding 40 or more for a holiday or party. She was a fan of professional golf and watched every Sunday. Pat was a  life member of the local Amvets and VFW auxiliaries.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Noon in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.

Visitation will be held prior to her Service from 10-12 pm also in the Funeral Home.

Following cremation burial will be in the spring.
