Nicholas C. Cardinale 84 of Marlborough died peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
Nick was born in Boston, MA the son of the late Michael and Florence (Morelli) Cardinale.
He was predeceased by his beautiful wife of 57 years Louise L. (Corricelli) Cardinale in 2017, who was the love of this life.
Nick served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1955-1957, and then worked as a Meat Cutter for many years. He had a passion for all sports and bowled in various leagues. He was very involved with youth ice hockey when his children were young and had been Director of the Girl’s Nighthawks program. He is one of the pioneers that helped build and support the girl’s development towards where it is today. Nick was charismatic and charming-making everyone feel special.
Nick is survived by his son Paul Cardinale, his wife Diane, and their son Brandon of NV, daughter Tina Beauchemin, her husband Ron, and his cherished grandchildren Jarrod and Trevor of Marlborough and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Cardinale and sister Maryann Cardinale-Parziale.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nick’s memory may be sent to Oakdale Nursing Facility, 76 N Main St, West Boylston, MA 01583 as a tribute to the loving care he received.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 with a service at 11 a.m. in Owen O'Leary's, 50 Turnpike Rd., Southborough, MA. A time of Remembrance and Fellowship will follow.
