Nancy J. Breton, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 21st, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
She faced every challenge with grace, optimism, and strength, inspiring everyone who knew her.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Nancy built a successful career in sales operations with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where she was respected for her dedication, professionalism, and warm spirit.
Outside of work, Nancy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time on the golf course and relaxing on beach vacations. Her passion for gardening and home improvement projects made every space she touched more beautiful and welcoming, a process lovingly known as “Nancifying.” Nancy was also an enthusiastic sports fan—always cheering on her Michigan State Spartans and her favorite Boston teams.
Known for her happiness, loyalty, and unwavering love for her family and friends, Nancy was the heart of every gathering and the light in many lives.
She is survived by her husband Gary Breton, sister Pam Parrott, sister Shelly Weed, stepsister Tracy Smith (Gary), stepbrother Philip Bogard (Nicole), and many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory and the love she so freely gave.
She was predeceased by her father Alan Reidinger, Mother Sandra Reidinger, stepmother Mary Ann Reidinger, and brother Mark Reidinger.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 2-4 pm in the Short and Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main Street, Marlborough, MA.
To honor her spirit, those attending are encouraged to wear purple, her favorite color and a symbol of her vibrant and joyful life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
