Michael Allain Obituary

Michael “Mike” J. Allain, 56 died on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family after battling cancer.

Mike was born in Waltham, MA, the son of Guy and Yvonne (Surette) Allain. Raised in Marlborough he and his wife spent many years living in Ft. Myers, FL before moving back to Marlborough in 2017. He worked as an Irrigation Technician for many years and most recently was employed by A. J. Antico Irrigation Systems in Marlborough before his illness.

Mike was a kind, hardworking, supportive husband, father, and son. He loved his family, fishing, and the Boston Celtics. His laughter will be forever missed.

Mike is survived by his wife of 15 years, Megan L. (Fahle) Allain, his daughter, Cameron, both of Marlborough; his son, Mark Allain of Westborough; his parents Guy and Yvonne Allain of Marlborough; a brother Peter Allain of Marlborough; a sister, Dora Defelice and her husband Danny of Natick and a niece, Angela.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.

A Private Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike’s name to VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, Fund Development Office, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608
