Lilita “Cookie” A. (Pina) Burt 71 of Hudson, MA died on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after a brief illness.

Cookie was born in Bridgewater, MA, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Haynes) Pina.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ellis L. Burt Sr. of Hudson, 2 sons, Ellis Burt Jr and Mark Burt both of Hudson, a daughter, Nadine Burt of Westborough, 3 sisters, Nanette Baines of Bridgewater, Doris Goldson of RI, Dorothy Rose of NV, 2 brothers, Tony Pina of RI, John Pina of W. Bridgewater and many nieces and nephews.

Cookie enjoyed going to the beach, she loved Jazz Music and attending concerts.

Memorial Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough Ma.

A Funeral Service will follow at 6 p.m. also in the Funeral Home.

Burial will be private at a later date.
