John E Haldeman

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Haldeman of Marlborough who slipped away peacefully at West Roxbury VA Medical Center on Saturday, March 8, 2025. His loving daughter, Michelle Vasquez and his life partner, Christiane Nilsson were by his side.

John was born in Camden, NJ to the late John and Louise (Edwards) Haldeman. In addition to his beloved daughter Michelle Vasquez and her husband Mark of Lancaster, he also leaves behind his loving life partner of 20+ years, Christiane Nilsson and her children Birgit Nilsson and Erik Nilsson, his sisters Chris O’Rourke and her husband Bob and Gail Gallagher and her husband Bill, all of New Jersey and their children.

John enlisted in the United States Airforce after high school and went on to become a successful business executive in the Computer Industry.  John enjoyed reading and working on models as well as shopping in Aisle 9B of Wegmans.

John was such a good man.  He will be missed dearly by all of us.

Family and friends will be invited to a Celebration of John’s Life at a later date.
