Joanne M. (Tremblay) Buczek

Joanne M. Buczek 83 of Westborough passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in UMass Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by her loving family.

Joanne was born in Marlborough, MA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Castorino) Tremblay.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John G. Buczek in 2016.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Sharon of Berlin, her son Matthew Buczek and his wife Danielle of FL, 2 grandchildren, Amanda Sharon and her husband Mark Schulze, Thomas Sharon, a sister Mary Ellen Taylor and her husband Peter as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was also predeceased by her son Mark Buczek, her sister Patricia Prudhomme and her son-in-law, Thomas Sharon.

Joanne loved to bowl in her younger years, she enjoyed golf and supported Marlborough Pop Warner Booster Club for many years. She attended all of her son, Matthew’s, baseball and football games. Cheering him on. She worked for a number of years for Stanley’s Hallmark Store in Marlborough and The Paper Store in Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 4-6 pm in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11 am in St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough, MA.
