Jean E. (Contonio) Hill 90 of Marlborough passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 11, 2025
Jean was born in Marlborough, MA, the daughter of the late Jean and Arline (Smith) Contonio. She was educated in the Marlborough School System and work as a Directory Assistant and waitress.
Jean is survived by her 2 daughters, Rhonda Skinner and her husband Glenn of Marlborough, Louise LaChance of GA, 9 grandchildren, Jean Cotter and her husband Jeremy, Glenn Skinner Jr, Kevin Skinner and his partner Shelita, Karen Busa, Melissa West and her husband Kenny, Kristopher LaChance and his wife Catherine, Gregory LaChance and his wife Lya, Rodney Hill III and his partner Kate, Nina Hill, 10 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Anne Hill of RI, and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rodney D. Hill in 1981, her son, Rodney D. Hill Jr in 2024 and son-in-law Ken LaChance in 2015.
Jean truly lived life to the fullest, a devoted Elvis fan, she brought joy and energy wherever she went. In her younger days, you might have been blessed enough to join her for one of her famous wild golf cart rides. She loved singing along at karaoke, playing cards with friends, and savoring a glass of wine. Always the life of the party, Jean’s laughter and spirit lit up every room she entered. Above all, she cherished spending quality time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 9-11 am in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.
A Graveside Service will follow at 12 pm in Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove St., Framingham, MA. A Celebration of Jean’s life will follow.
