Jacqueline Marie (Keville) Long, 61, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully at home, on Christmas day surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jacqueline, known as Jackie to all who loved her, was born in Framingham, MA to the late Robert and Marlene (Akerley) Keville. She was a graduate of Framingham South High School and spent many years working as a merchandiser in retail and later at assisted living centers assisting the residents.
Jackie married Timothy Long, in 1984, and together they celebrated 41 wonderful years of marriage this past November.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Tim, of Hudson, their daughter Alyssa Rae of Northbridge, and her siblings: sister Patricia Keville, brothers John Keville and his wife Cindy, and Robert Keville and his wife Doreen. She also leaves behind her nephew Ryan, niece Samantha, and many extended family members and friends who will all deeply miss her.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents and her dear sister Paula Keville.
Jackie loved the ocean, beach days and sailing days were her happiest moments. She also loved family gatherings at home, on the Cape, in New Hampshire or at family weddings and birthdays. She loved Christmas most of all, the decorating, the cooking, and the gatherings. She was constantly redecorating her home, which changed with the seasons, but it was always beautifully done. She enjoyed finding bargains and unique clothing at resale shops. For her birthday in February, she loved to go to Florida with favorite spots at Clearwater Beach and Englewood beach near Venice. She was loved by her husband and daughter, her extended family and the many friends she made along the way.
A funeral service will be held in the Short and Rowe Funeral Home on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 5 PM, with an hour of visitation prior to the service, from 4-5 PM.
