Grace P. (Bufalieri) Dyer

Grace P. (Bufalieri) Dyer, 90 of Marlborough died at her home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

She was born in Marlborough, MA, the daughter of the late Paul and Susie (Francione) Bufalieri. She graduated from Marlborough High School, Class of ‘50 and worked for N.E. Telephone as a Switchboard Operator for many years.

Grace was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Frederick R. Dyer in 2017 and her daughter, Tracey J. (Dyer) Gale in 2013.

Grace is survived by her grandsons, Tyler Burgwinkel and his fiancé, Michaela Giroux of Marlborough, Todd Dyer of Sterling and Jeff Dyer of Charlton, her stepson, Dennis Dyer and his wife Maureen of Hudson.

Grace was predeceased by her beloved cat, Tiger “Tigger” or “Puppy” because he would follow her around like a puppy dog.

She loved sweets and trying new things and cared deeply for people and animals. Her infectious laugh could uplift any room. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 9-10:30 a.m. in Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W Main St., Marlborough, MA.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough, MA.
