Dorothy M (Roache) Hodgson

Dorothy M. Hodgson 92 of Marlborough passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was born in NY, NY, the daughter of the late Bertram R. and Ethel L. (Peterkin) Roache.

She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 40 years, James C. Hodgson in 1991.

Dorothy is survived by her 4 daughters, Denise Norden and her husband John of Bridgewater, Elaine Prokop and her husband Rick of AL, Ethel Kelleher and her husband James of NC, Deborah Berard and her husband Wayne of Leicester, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.

Dorothy volunteered at the Marlborough Senior Center for over 20 years and was awarded Volunteer of the year in 2012 as well as Senior of the Year in 2019. She was a proud home maker all her life and at one time was a trained First Responders on the Community Emergency Response Team.

According to her wishes, following cremation a private service will be held.
