Doris (Goldberg) Steinman, 86, of Marlborough passed away peacefully in her home at New Horizons of Marlborough surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Doris was the only daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Loss) Goldberg and was born in the Bronx, New York. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Pratt Institute and became a fashion designer for Le Roi Hosiery. She was married to Irving Steinman from 1961 until his passing in 1976. She married Martin Reizes in 1991 and they were happily married until his passing in 2016.
Doris and Martin moved to Massachusetts in 2000 after previously living in Florida and New York.
Doris loved the arts and was an accomplished watercolorist. Before retiring, she worked at Filene’s in the children’s shoes department. When she wasn’t painting, she loved being with family.
Doris is survived by her son, Maurice Steinman and his wife Valerie of Boston, her daughter Ilira Steinman and her husband Jason Thompson of Pawtucket, RI, her five grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Faye, Ian, and Henry along with her niece Martha.
Services will be at a later date in the spring.
