Donna Jean Kelley, 68, of Marlborough passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehabilitation surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born in Marlborough, MA, the daughter of the late Donald J. and Margaret T. (Dumas) Roche. She graduated from Hudson Catholic High School and earned her Associate’s Degree from Framingham State University.
She worked for Bose for 17 years and ended her career working for the Town of Natick as a school assistant administrator.
Donna was the center of her family. She loved hosting Christmas Eve and seeing the joy on her family’s faces. She spent her summers with friends and family at Moussam Lake in Maine, taking boat rides and sitting on her swing watching everyone enjoy the sun. She was a devoted Supernatural fan and shared that love with her family by having watch parties and traveling to conventions.
Donna is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas S. Kelley, her sons, Matthew D. Kelley of Vermont, Chris L. Kelley of Marlborough, her four grandchildren, Olivia, Colin, Jack and Katherine, two brothers, David Roche and his wife Michelle of Florida, Edward Roche of Worcester, her nephew Joseph, two nieces Julie and Stephanie, her best friends, Lisa and Paul Tynan, as well as many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 4-6 pm in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11 am in St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough, MA.
