Diane M. (Matuza) Temple, 73, of Marlborough passed away at her home peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, who will miss her greatly.
Diane was born in Amityville, NY, the daughter of the late Walter H. and Marie V. (Quince) Matuza.
With a true love of gardening, Diane found joy in creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Her green thumb and love for plants made her home a haven of tranquility and beauty.
Diane graduated with a B.S. from International College, Naples and went on to have a fulfilling career as a Medical Laboratory Technician. She spent the last few of her working years at her church, actively participating in various ministries and serving her community with unwavering faith. She also cherished her time in Key West, where she loved fishing and basking in the sun's warmth.
Diane was predeceased by her husband Dail W. Temple.
Her legacy of love, generosity, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Diane is survived by her son, Terry Tvrdik and his fiancée, Suzette Spitzer of Northborough, her daughter, Emily (Tvrdik) Brady and her husband Steven of Marlborough, 4 grandchildren, Lily, Scott, Christopher, and Rayne, 1 great grandson, Crew, a sister Joanne Conover and her husband Robert of KS, her brother Frank Matuza of FL, and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Christopher and Walter Matuza and a sister, Anielia Ellers.
As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Diane demonstrated incredible strength and resilience throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Cancer Center at Marlborough Hospital, Marlborough, MA in her honor.
A private service will be held at a later date.
