David B Richard

David B. Richard, 69 of Marlborough died unexpectedly at his home after a period of declining health on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

He was born in Cambridge, MA, the son of the late, Paul and Alice (Lund) Richard. He graduated from Arlington High School.

David employed as a CDL Truck Driver and was a member of Local 25. He worked for Brigham’s Ice Cream for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia “Patty” (Hankins) Richard of Marlborough; 3 children, Francis Mavilia and his wife Linda of Groton, Paul Mavilia of Grafton, Laurel Ebert and her husband Jared of Boylston; 3 grandchildren, Anna, Jacob and Madalyn; 2 sisters, Paulette Eori and her husband Paul of Duxbury, Renee Richard of Billerica; a brother, Paul and Diane Richard of SC formally of Duxbury MA and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son Andrew Mavilia.

There are no calling hours.

Following cremation, a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 24, at 11 a.m. in St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Rd., Southborough, MA. Burial will be at a later date.
