David H. Frank, 85, died Thursday November 19, 2020 after a short period of failing health. He was the husband of Catherine (Rowe) Frank for 62 years. He was born on October 10, 1935 in New Brunswick, NJ, the son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Ries) Frank. He was a child actor who performed in the Broadway plays Life With Father and Life With Mother. He acted in the role of John in a touring production of Peter Pan with Boris Karloff and Jean Arthur. He performed in two episodes of the early television program Kraft Theater.
Soon after leaving acting he graduated from St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick and attended Rutgers University. Mr. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army and would later go on to become a Systems Analyst for many different companies including NBC in New York City where he worked for 20 years while making his home in the Westchester County town of Yorktown Heights, NY for 20 years.
He retired to Lakewood Ranch and Sun City Center, Florida where he enjoyed 18 years of reading, seeing baseball spring training games, especially those of his favorite New York Yankees and visiting Disney World with his beloved granddaughter Rebecca. Six years ago, he moved back north to Massachusetts to be near his children.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son David A Frank and his wife Joanne of Marlborough, MA, a son-in-law Christian McVey of North Andover, MA, a granddaughter Rebecca Michelle Frank (James Chandler), great-grandson Jude Chandler and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Donald A. Frank, daughter Catherine (Frank) McVey, his three brothers Donald, Richard, Daniel and his sister Dorene (Frank) Nason.
