Claudette Marie (Charest) McMurray, 89, of Marlborough, (formally of North Andover), went to be with God on June 17, 2026. Claudette was the most faithful and we know that the angels sang when she entered Heaven.
Claudette was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Beatrice (Beaulieu) Charest and was born in Methuen, MA.
She was the wife of James McMurray, whom she was married to for 56 years until his death in 2016. Claudette’s greatest love was raising her 4 sons, Mark, Scott, Neil and Todd. She worked as an x-ray technician, in her early years and then worked multiple jobs in the fulfillment industry.
Her favorite winter pastime was watching the Boston Bruins. Claudette’s favorite spot for vacation was in Gilford, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee.
She is survived by her 4 children, Mark and his wife Mary-Beth, Scott and his wife Courtney, Neil and Todd. Claudette was the proud Memeré to Patricia and her fiancé Colby, Ian, Quinn, Ethan and Flynn.
She was predeceased by her sister Bea and her daughter in law, Robin.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 @ 11AM at the Short and Rowe Funeral Home, 95 West Main Street, Marlborough, MA. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 9-11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
