Chester E. Wozniak, 88, of Marlborough, MA, passed away on December 31, 2025, in the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital, University Campus, following a brief illness.
Born in Chelsea, MA, Chester was the son of the late Chester M. and Sophie (Jankowski) Wozniak. He spent his early years in Chelsea before making his home in Marlborough, where he has lived for many years. Chester worked for TJ Maxx for much of his career, serving as the foreman for their warehouse distribution division.
Chester is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Roberto, and her husband Robert of Saugus, and his son Michael Wozniak, also of Saugus. He was the grandfather of five grandchildren and great-grandfather to three. He also leaves behind his brother Thomas Wozniak, his sister Dorothy Noury and her husband Richard, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Mary Cipollone, and his long-time companion, Sheila B. (Kelly) Canavan.
Chester enjoyed visiting the casino and was a devoted New England Patriots fan as well as a season ticket holder.
A funeral service will be held for Chester on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Short and Rowe Funeral Home, 95 West Main Street, Marlborough, with calling hours prior to the service, from 10 AM – 12 PM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery on Wilson Street in Marlborough.
