Charles “Chuck” M. Ferro 61 of Marlborough passed away at his home on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Chuck was born in Waltham, MA, the son of the late Salvatore A. and Joanne (Betts) Ferro.
He worked as a Mechanic for the Town of Belmont.
Chuck is survived by his 9 children, Joseph DeGouff of FL, Anthony Ferro of Waltham, Carl Ferro and his fiancé Mariana of Marlborough, Stephen Ferro of MA, Dominic Ferro of Marlborough, Melissa Turpin and her husband Bill, Jodi Cross all of Waltham, Nicole Beaumont of Marlborough Katelyn Beaumont of Waltham, 14 grandchildren, Hunter, Anthon Jr, Jonathan, Noah, Billy, Sean, Joey Jr., Cordelia, Nathaniel, Adrian, Jacob, Jordan, Aleigha, Xander, 2 great grandchildren, Will and Courtney, 3 brothers, Mark Ferro of Framingham, Michael Ferro of FL, Robert Ferro of Framingham and his sister Cheri Irvin of Medford, as well as many nieces, nephews extended family and friends including his 2 ex-wives Kathleen and Darlene.
Chuck also leaves behind his beloved dog Dakota.
Chuck was a kind man who never learned to say no to people in need, he was the handyman’s handyman with a love for gardening. Chuck was a very giving man from vegetables from his garden to his wide verity of tools and equipment, what others saw as junk he saw as opportunity. Chuck had a love for cars, especially his 1967 Camaro, in the summer months would be seen joyriding his motorcycle.
Chuck was a mechanic for most his life, most recognizable as “chucky from the gas station” from his years at Sunoco in Watertown.
His sense of humor was unmatched and was able to make a joke in any situation.
He was a real family man; chuck was the kind of guy to drop everything for the ones he cared for no matter the circumstances.
Chuck will be missed by far more than just his family, he was a wonderful neighbor and a great friend.
Following cremation, Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 5-7 pm in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA
Burial will take place at a later date in Florida.
